Sir David is an inspirational entrepreneur who has made Shanghai Tang a covetable brand amongst global travellers looking for modern Chinese design, as well as starting China Tang, his London restaurant.
Incredibly well-travelled, Sir David has also been a senior shareholder and advisory director with leading travel companies as well as finding time to design a suite at Sir Terence Conran’s new Boundary hotel in London.
He was awarded a Knighthood in 2007 for his charity work in Britain and for promoting British interests in the former British colony of Hong Kong where he
was born.
Sir David promises to be a lively and inspiring speaker for the Directors’ Club
launch event.
This invite-only dinner will be in Tattersall’s, an intimate private venue at The Berkeley, on October 13.
